Signature Plans are our curated collection of ready-to-build Nordic home designs with a proven layout, modern Scandinavian style, and energy-smart detailing.

You start with a fully developed design instead of a blank page, and we can customize the plan to fit your site, local code requirements, lifestyle needs, and budget.

Why should I start with the Study Plans?

Study Plans give you immediate access to the home’s schematic design so you can review the layout, key dimensions, and overall concept. It’s the easiest way to confirm the design feels right and to identify any changes you’d like.

Once you’ve reviewed the Study Plans, we can discuss modification options and how the home can be adapted to your site, climate, and local requirements. This creates a clear path toward finalizing the architectural design and moving into permit-ready construction drawings.

Can I use the Study Plans to build my home?

No. Study Plans are for concept and planning purposes only and are not intended for permitting or construction.

To build, you’ll need a permit-ready construction document set prepared for your local requirements. This is something we can also support through our extensive network of trusted partners in many locations.

How do I schedule the online design consultation?

After purchasing the Study Plans, you’ll receive an email with a link to schedule your complimentary online design consultation included with the package.

What happens after the design consultation?

After the design consultation, we’ll summarize your requested changes and confirm priorities. Then we’ll do a brief site review to develop a site layout concept and identify the best placement and orientation for the home on your lot. Next, we’ll send you a fixed-fee proposal for the Design Finalization Phase, where you’ll receive revised architectural drawings that serve as the basis for creating the detailed construction and permitting documents required in your area.
